What can the X Factor do to improve upon itself next year?
For me, I'd like to see the following changes: - New presenter for Xtra Factor - Get Dermot to chill out/hurry the pointless parts of the show up so he's not rushing the contestants/judges - Give Louis a good category OR replace him - Give Cheryl and Dannii the crap categories - Give us fewer celebrity performances so the quality goes up, I'm so sick of seeing rubbish, tired familiar faces popping up on the show - Do away with the themes OR stick to them more rigidly, the half arsed way they went about it was a bit annoying this year - Be more consistent when it comes to the bottom two - the judges going on about how it's a singing contest on a Saturday and then being tactical on the Sunday is really not okay - Find us any one of the following: a charismatic male solo singer whose personality is just as exciting as his talent; a girl band that girls can relate to so they have a chance; an over 25/28 who isn't doomed before the first live show; a good group who weren't put together by the show. - When it comes to the final, please choose duet partners who are interested in the act they're singing with like Robbie Williams was, it was the only duet that felt comfortable to watch. I doubt they'll improve on many/any of those but I do expect there'll be changes of some sort next year, there always are. What would you all like to see change? - Both presenters need to go, Bring in Holly Willoughby and Christine Bleakley.
- Keep the wide themes, stay away from artist or genre nights unless it's expansive. - Keep the Final 16, it worked well this series. - Keep the new style of single, I'm not a fan of Matt's but One Direction's isn't bad and the fact they're staying away from the usual X Factor pitfalls is a good thing. Also keep the different singles for each act, It's better then the one generic song for all. - Keep Dannii & Simon, get rid of Louis and Cheryl. - Get rid of over 28's and return it back to 25's>, it balanced out the talent better. |

Get rid of the sing off, replace it with whatever, it's so consistent the way sometimes they waffle on about you're performance in the sing off was best, then other times its who I want to see next week, load of rubbish

- Get rid of Cheryl and Dannii, get Sharon back.
- Revert back to the acapella auditions with no audience. - Get rid of the sing off, leave it to the public, I think this years voting figures show why. - Keep the final 16. - Scrap theme weeks. - Ban Take That from performing. |
