Default what are the actual odds of this

so some of you who were sad enough to post here during the auditioning phase of this years BB may remember my username from posting during the auditions. you may also remember i got quite far, but stopped posting here progressing past a certain point.

this is because i was asked to go into the house.

24 hours later, i am phoned back again to say due to a change in the house dynamics, they are rethinking the housemates and can I please be a standby?

i was immensely gutted.

I work at a golf club in berkshire called the club @ mapledurham, we have a sister company down the road called the Castle Royle golf club.

That week, a fellow named Mark Henderson, who previously worked at Castle Royle was transferred over to Mapledurham, where i worked.

Big brother were in the knowledge of where all the housemates worked, and all of our movements at the time, so they knew that TWO of their housemates now worked at the same place.

One had to get the cut? And unfortunately it was myself.

I would consider my chances of a standby at this point to be extremely limited.

I'm facebook friends with Mark, so before anyone cries 'bull****' i have some proof down.

So there we go, how unlucky was that?

Also I was in the same final group audition as both Harry + Faye, we werent allowed to know each others names, but I walked back over to hammersmith station with Harry after the audition and I got really chummy with Faye that day. She friend req'd me on facebook afterwards but i denied it so i didnt hurt my chances so to speak. (now wishing i hadnt)

Harry was massively loud and domineering in the audition, nothing like he is now in the house, more quiet and reserved. He is massive in real life.

Faye is absolutely lovely and a massive charmer. When i was placed "least interesting" at the end of a line she was the only one in the group to stick up for me. She also stuck me with the label 'sexy' during a group game, and sat on my knee. Shes really nice, i can predict her doing well.

Mark is 100% legit. He really is like that.

Unlucky - always thought it would be worse to make it that far then not get in (and given how annoying Mark is in the house, unlucky that you know him!). Means you have a good shot next year though?

Tashie was in my group stage and seemed genuinely ditzy without putting on an act. And she called me 'Most Intelligent' in the group.

Mark isn't annoying, is he? I always thought he was hilarious. He is a stand up comedian part time and I have to say he is quite good.

I work reception at the golf club, he worked in membership sales. I first met him, we shook hands over the reception desk, the manager comes along. "So i see you two have met then?"

Mark: "yeah me and darren go way back, we've never actually met but we have a sort of spiritual connection, life took us both down seperate paths and lo and behold, there he is now eating a bacon roll and here i am."

he's mental.

I don't know how i would've fit into that group. I'm 24 years old, Married and a Mormon.

You would've been different though, in a cast of otherwise samey people. Which coulda been great. You sound better than people like Anton.

My wife told me she thanks god every day that endemol changed their mind. She says she would've had a breakdown seeing me go in there with that bunch.

Which housemate do you think ended up "taking your place"? Sounds like Harry did, as he's the only other guy with a partner outside the house.

He's really well liked at work, but I see what you mean. I think he's quite likable.

It could well be Harry as he was in the same group of 10 as me at the last audition. I could envision Faye and myself being both picked from that group for the following reason,

I'm recently married, and I've been having a real hard time coming to grips with it. The whole way through my auditions, they were really focussing on my marriage. I answered the question 'why do you want to do big brother' with 'well, how old do you think you have to be to warrant a mid life crisis?'. Big brother answered 'Not 24, darren."

Faye clearly "fancied" me in this audition, she was sat on my knee, labelling me "sexy" saying how she loves geeks and being super super nice the whole time. I was lapping it up. (she may have been being false for attention but i dont care).

I can see them thinking I would follow her around like a lost puppy or something. In that audition we played a game involving personal items. Fayes was her body and so she stripped to a bikini. She asked me to help her pull her shorts down. I loudly chanted 'i love my wife, i love my wife, i love my wife' whilst doing this.

I thought they wanted to see the destruction of a young married church guy on TV. So i sort of played up to that a bit.

So in that respect harry replacing me seems likely, he's the only other one who seems more calm and from a different walk of life to the majority.
