Usually before the finale there is an episode featuring unseen clips from the show. Is there a reason why this hasn't aired this year? And why wasn't there an episode last night?

There wasn't an episode last night because there was a special programme airing on CBS for 9/11

It usually would have been on last night - the Sunday before the finale. However, because yesterday there were so many specials for the 10th anniversary of 9-11, most of the regular programming was taken off the schedule. It won't be shown this year at all.
