Default Aaron was right.

I totally understand why he gets annoyed, infact I am surprised people have to ask,Aaron was obviously brought up to ask before he took and to respect people, most people today however feel it is their right to take and mess with anything they want,it may just be a 'cake' to some to the rest of us it is the princible of the thing,he explained in the DR why he was pissed off,and I 100% agree.I think this is just the excuse the Aaron haters wanted, but imo Aaron was right.

I agree with you. People show how selfish they are by trying to put a value on something. Oh it was only a little cake, it was only cheap blah blah. To me it shows what type of person they are. its not the value of the item, its the principle.
Don't touch what isn't yours, it shows a lack of awareness and respect on your part.

I cant see why that fact is so hard for some to grasp

Totally agree but it's the way our society is at the moment - I want it so I take it regardless of what it is or who it belongs to - it makes me very angry!!!

This.

A good example nothing to do with BB. An old woman coming out of the post office with her money. Very small, possibly 4ft 11' and frail with a walking stick. This man must have been 6ft + walks casually by and grabs a Ł5.00 note out of her hand and said "I'll have some of that!"

When people tried to intervene he was baffled as to why we were annoyed. Afterall it was only Ł5.00. The thing is that money was not his to take. The old woman might have had bills to pay and the Ł5.00 he took might have been to buy her food for the week. Either way it was not his even if it had only been a penny.

What Maisy said to him implied that he'd made it clear to everyone he doesn't like cake.
Freezing a cake to give to his son is a really weird thing to do tho. I could see him walking after a few weeks, which would be a real shame tbf.

Ive said that over at DS, he is on the edge atm and i dont think it would take him long to think hed rather be out of the situation than start losing his cool with people; I hope he is ok but what with the argument coming up tonight he really seems a bit down and fed up with things

When I read some of the posts on here I start to wonder if we're all watching the same show.

It did come across as a gross over-reaction, however it does no harm to be reminded that principles can and should be exercised over the smallest of things.

Can i say though Arron does not strike me to be the most principled of people after he claimed to like Rebeckah week 1 then turn around walking into the bathroom saying "i hate her"

He's feeling a bit sorry for himself i think and if he believes in the sanctity of principles, he's going to look like a hipocrite unless he practices what he preeches

But he doesn't have more respect than the others. He regularly bitches about people behind their back. He bitched about Pamela Anderson on opening night, saying she looked 60, just because he wasn't picked to go the her party. He seriously considered changing the shopping list to a useless toy just for a laugh. And he's regularly said that people shouldn't see each other as making friends in the house as it's just a game show. Then he throws a big strop whenever something is done against him.

It's not that he was wrong and Maisey was right, but the fact that he threw such a strop and then completely blanked her when she apologised for it.

I'm not saying that they don't all do that kind of thing, but rather that he isn't any different to them at all.

Aaron was right to be annoyed on principle, I hate when people just take my stuff without asking but his response was slightly OTT. Many people take stuff in the BB house without asking (Jedward with Amy's eyeliner) but she didn't get super pissy about it.

I was most likely a build up of emotions and was not really about the cake, I think he needs a good old cuddle with Louise to cheer him up!

I wonder why Arron in particular went into the house, he did say he did not want to mix with some of them before he had even spoken to them, that's like someone getting on the dance floor and just standing around watching.

I wonder whether Aaron literally just sent in to see if he could play the game and to see how far he could get; i still get the impression that he thought he would be out first week, and he was convinced he was going to be up this week as well

I think Aaron overreacted and in my opinion lost some 'cool points'.

Yep! Maybe he's looking for an out, like often Hm's don't want to quit but they desperately want to leave, so they behave in such a way as to get nominated.

Nah, I think he's just a bit over sensitive. He takes things said or done against him to heart too much. He doesn't want to leave. Just look at how he kept checking to make sure Louise and Harry weren't thinking of walking when they were struggling to settle in.

Now if Louise left, then I think he might consider walking.
