Default Ive got to say if us internet fans got Aaron the win then.

Its revenge on the general public for giving us some of the most god damn awful winners ever and this will teach you a lesson to vote for the entertainers next time when the ratings go up for CBB9 and BB13.

Am I wrong in my impression that ratings (even for C5 alone) were consistently nosediving even during the tenure of your 'great white hope'? If not, then I fail to see the sense in your ratings contention

Its cool that we finally have a 'posher' type of winner in Aaron because we have had some great HMs like that who really deserved the title (Freddie, Eugene, Derek, Ben).

Yeah, the whole thing was rigged to outrage the public. Next time you better dig into your wallets and give them your money! or else look what happens.

For once the silent majority got the winner THEY wanted, and for all those sore losers screaming "FIX", it's really not rocket science if you want your fave to win - JUST VOTE MORE THAN THE NEXT PERSON, or do you expect others to do it for you??

Aaron fans were dedicated and determined and so we "fixed" it for Aaron to win simplyby voting for him more than any other fans did for their faves - simples

Are people really so full of hate that they cannot see the stupidity of their claim that BB fixed it for Aaron to win, when in fact they have spent 9 weeks trying to dissuade the public from voting for him?

It was a triumph for those of us who are fed up with the generic, brain dead bimbos (male and female) and the aggressive, disgusting lowlifes we were offered this year. Aaron was a diamond amongst a pile of sh*t.

Don't worry though, there will never be another Aaron which is why I won't be watching BB anymore. The usual lineup of dross will be queueing around the block soon to audition for next year, and I guarantee Channel 5 won't be picking another Aaron anytime soon

Novo, Angus you too are legends, have loved reading your posts. Spot on every time. Aaron won because he was simply THE BEST.... Good luck to him and Faye, hope the future is fantastic for them both.

I agree with you. The ones shouting fix are unhappy because their favourite h/m didn't win. Aaron has led the polls from the beginning so their argument holds no credibility. When up for eviction Aaron had the most votes to be kept in. I am so glad that this year a fairly decent normal guy won it and has restored some of my faith in what is right and wrong with this country.

Agree with the sentiments in your post Angus. I have to be honest though: I don't usually vote, and this year, the only reason I did (and to such an extent) was due to FB voting.

In that sense, it was a good move from BB. perhaps not a good move for them as it clearly backfired on them and the lovely Aaron won.

I agree jf, also I think Aaron built up a good solid fan base from the start,he was up for eviction in the first eviction battle then 3 more through the whole series,'all' of which he won the most votes cast in.

The efforts on here and elsewhere to never assume he was afe and to keep voting also played a big part as you point out as to securing his win.

As for success, while it's true the ratings did fall by a million or so from the launch, there are reasons for that.
A gret many people, even on here thought this was a on paper a really good series of BB, however the frustrations of no 'live' feed and very limited footage plus the cover ups of some housemates nastier elements of activities was never going to help this series break any viewing records.

Having said that,it never fell to the 700,000 to 800,000 viewing figures that a fair few said it would even on this forum.
What is evident was that viewers didn't like the controlled editing, small footage and no 'live' feed. Now Channel 5 bringing back 'live' feed especially for the main series of BB will then as you point out likely make next year a far better rated series.

CBB this year was a success really, that should hold its own in January next year although I dread Lauren Harries likely being in it.

You made really good points jf and I can still see a good future for a fair few years yet but they must have some form of 'live' feed which is really going to be a vital element in the success of BB next year.

Let's do the same next time. I hope there is a housemate as great as Aaron in the next BB that we can all support.

Great post, I agree with almost every word, but maybe it's new era for interesting mates, because Internet changes many things...

They don't think it's rigged, they are ****ing messed up because their favourite didn't win so they have to enduce sour grapes all over the internet, much like your good self.
