They even told them that they COULD talk about noms.

But then all of a sudden they are not allowed to? I'm not understanding this. Why is planning to get everyone up any different to discussing in groups which few people should be put up and voting accordingly?

BB didn't want everyone up, or even 5 up. I'm not sure why, wouldn't it mean more votes to save and thus more money for c5?

Doesn't the impact of face to face noms diminish if they give bogus noms though.

I'm assuming they were told at some point before the noms process they had to be valid?

I don't see how it's a mess at all. What's the point of making a face-to-face nomination task if you're going to let the housemates go along with their plan to put everyone up at once? That would totally defeat the purpose of putting any production effort into the final nominations.

They wanted the last nominations to be interesting and 'twisty' (ie: the face-to-face). So even though they had talked about putting everyone up during the week BB told them not to influence each others noms. They broke that rule during the task and BB voided votes. Seems pretty similar and straightforward to me.

I think you guys are reading too much into it.

What about it? The told them not to influence. Go watch the HL again where Lousie makes that vote. Jay leans at Tom clearly showing Lousie who to pick.

It is a utter shambles.
They all discused nominations and all stuck to the plan...so how is this not influencing nominations?They allowed the planned nomination!!!
I am starting to think Aaron does work for BB and they wanted louise out rather than tom

CH5 HAVE NOT GOT A CLUE < this is why this series and the deadwood show was such a flop ? they should have at least known the rules before byeing BIGBROTHER.

gypsygoth.. go to the link in the post above yours. He doesn't lean towards Alex at all. Lousie cleary winks her face as to say "what? who?" and then Jay gesture his head at Tom. It was totally a bogus vote after BB specifically told them not to influence each other. Like the result or not, BB set the rule and made it clear many times.

The edit however, shrug. Her vote getting void is irrelevant to the result and in the mean time they gave the clip to BOTS right away. They likely didn't put it in the main show just so it could be used on BOTS and cause such a stir with everyone. It's got all the lot her still talking about it.

I agree with you mad joe. This whole talking about noms, writing to each others and giving them soo many rewards & parties the shopping budget means nothing, is not the way BB is meant to be.

It's a shambles of their own making, and I hope a lot of people choose not to vote. BB is acting shady.

The edit was shady.. since it makes Lousie look bad. But then again... they don't have a 2 hour show. Maybe cutting that made room for more Lousie stuff at the end? Hard to tell. Just because something happens doesn't mean they HAVE to put it in the HL show. They did feed it up for BOTS right away. So it's not like they were shady and hid anything.

But the voting voiding was spot on IMO.

At the end of the day, you guys can bitch about C5 and BB all you want. But I bet editing out that clip has put more focus on the show, BOTS and facebook then if things just went over smoothly. I bet BB13 will be even more popular on here and facebook regardless of all the people pretending they aren't going to watch ever again cause C5 "screwed it up" lol.

the thing thats bothering me is the house is too much, the editing is horrible, and no visitors. i dream of it going back to bb5-10 style :/

I don't know why they only singled Louise's nom for Tom & not everyone elses as they were all influenced too & BB knew that... Very fishy... Maybe Tom is their new chosen one...
