I feel like I paid for nothing with the live feed. It seems like it's 75% bird chirps and just about a quarter of the time can we actually hear anything at all.

Does anyone find the live feed watchable?

They can't possibly have THAT much that needs to be censored.

No i dont it is reallt annoying. Who cares if theres swearing kids of that age should not be watching it with some of teh content in it. I cannot hardly watch it

The thing i find annoying is the sound dips are put on even when the housemates are having a normal conversation.

Its not exactly live any way, theres 5 minutes between the real thing and live show on TV. They can at least just beep the swarewords, but they dont they just cut the sound off for like 5 minutes, its well annoying.

I feel it is as if they are trying to control what you hear each of the housemates saying incase they step outside of their assigned character.

They have extended the things we cannot hear them to talk about previous Big Brother, their friends in the outside world, products and people outside the house in general, celebs. They are really crapping themselves in case they are sued.

I suppose it's not just swear words they need to censor. It's products, business' and things like that. Cos they can't do product placement and stuff. But still, that cant constitute all of that sound dipping.

Get a petition going. Maybe Endemol can have a public vote about it, and charge people 50p every time they vote

Yeah the sound cutting off is highly irritating. but I suppose they have to protect the people in the outside world the housemates are talking about.

After all if one housemate accused his/her neighbour of being a pedo ( without proof ) that would be really bad.

But they do tend to cut stuff off rather unnessarily. I mean who really cares if Mikey's local kebab shop gets a free plug.

At least they've stopped calling a house mate to the diary room when there are only two of them up.

And leaving the camera pointing at the wall or grass for minutes on end.

I used to think that the director of the shows was a moron, who I would have gladly choked.

How do you expect endemol to perfectly time beeping out a single swear word? We all know how much the housemates swear this year, so there would be no point, and it would take ages.

I don't really think endemol care much about the live feed, it probably get's such few viewers that they do not want to waste money on employees to filter it better. I wish they would, though, it gives a much less bias view of the housemates in there.

I noticed one day the HMs mentioning what time it was at the moment, and by that I saw it was actually a 20 minute delay from the live feed.

Still 5 or 20 minutes, it's no excuse to block such huge swaths of sound. Might as well not have a live feed at all.

Yea. They can simply bleep out swaering theres no need to remove as much sound as they do and replacing it with annoying birdy chirps is really annoying as well!
