Default hampstead heath - is the highgate 3rd pond flooded ?

Highgate 3rd pond edge path 5.5.12

a few afternoons ago,
i saw something and did not think bugger,
the 3rd Highgate path was sinking,
and i praise the use of a mechanical dug er.
the path was blocked,
the rain was a good 2 inch,
i thought it would drain into the pond,
myself i had to pinch.
i have wrote poems on rats and cycling,
that's because i adore Hampstead heath,
and when machinery helps us,
then to eat well we must not remove our teeth.
i no there are campaigner's,
groups and the Hampstead Heath society,
but unless we move with the times,
like the 3rd Highgate pond edge, water will be our variety.
we have the technology,
lets keep all of Hampstead Heath walking,
so next time you see mechanical machinery,
respect it and don't start all that natural and organic talking.

( has anyone been up there lately - i went to feed the ducks with my daughter - and i was swimming with the ducks - and the pond next to it is the swimming pond - i need a new pair of shoes now - who is to blame, is the question god - the heath - myself for not wareing wellys ?)
