Default Trunki now made in Britain

This was on Ch4News tonight
They now make that case/toy in Bristol.

He went on dragons den , a few years back
they broke his product and said its rubbish.

Ch4News confirmed he sold over a million
now.
They are going to Employ 15 new UK workers .

China is now a problem
as your goods can take 2 months to get here
shipping and being made.
Also wages have gone up in China.


For the UK they said the Answer is Fast Robotics
human staff are still needed to pack
and control the units and orders control.

I watched that Dragon's Den and I am sure it was Duncan Bannatyne or Theo (I'm more sure it was Duncan) who made the comment about him having enough luggage to pull along and he was damned sure he was doing to have to do it with his kids.

I think they are brilliant for parents and kids. Parents however might have another view

The showed a clip on ch4 news
it was Theo - saying "why waste our time."

How wrong he was.

Knew it was one of those two - but it was years ago I saw it.

Yep, they completely got that one wrong - bet they are kicking themselves now - though they've been about for years now.
