when I changed to my real name from sweetsophiefan, Kate was already taken, hence I chose *Kate*. How long do inactive members keep the rights to the name, i.e. is it likely in the foreseeable future that I may be able to have just plain Kate myself or not really? Just wondered?

lol, everyone did. I kind of wish I'd used my name from the start, I'm no longer a particular fan of that housemate either, lol. It just seemed more anonymous when I started and I was quiet cos I didn't know anyone.

Nah I asked this too a while back. Apparently theres a chance of the user coming back (even the ones who joined but never posted like 5 years ago or watever ) so they cant just change details

i remember i was called karl. for ages cus there was some dude called karl that joined back in 2003 and then we did the xmas names and i got changed back to karl and the other karl seems to of disappeared lol
