The Big Brother 2012 housemates completed their first shopping task today, but it was an hour full of tension and arguments.



After passing Big Brother’s Megalol shopping task, the 16 remaining housemates were given a luxury budget of Ł500 to spend on food for the next week.

But there were clashes right from the start of the hour given to write the list, with Luke S, Lydia and Benedict even arguing over how to write what they wanted.

There were then disagreements over whether to buy 7, 14 or 21 apples, and whether 5kgs of bananas was too much.

Lydia ended up snapping at Chris: “You’re seriously pissing me off.”

After 30 minutes, the group had only managed to spend Ł10.52 of their budget, or at least according to Chris’ math skills.

Who knows how they’ll cope with a basic budget…
