Default 22 HouseMates.. is this a record?

There have been 22 HMs in this year's BB. Is this a record? Have there ever been as many as this before?

It's becoming increasingly harder to follow though. I always preferred the show from around the middle because you can follow it a lot easier when half the HMs are gone.. now, it's not the case.. they keep adding more, and confusing the issue.. and to make matters worse.. there are 2 houses to keep an eye on too..

God forbid I miss something interesting..

its a BBUK record yes but not a BBworld wide record.

The Record for most housemates was in BB Germany when they had 59 housemates!!!!

59 - was that because a lot dropped out or was it new housemates being put in? If so, where on earth did they put them, did they have a mansion?

Big brother Germany lasted 365 Days! A full Year. Thats why they had so many housemates. They kept adding more and more.
