In this game you will be paired up in 5 teams of two.

Each contestant on a team has the option of:

1. Passing up an exemption.
2. Taking an exemption.

However, that means there can be 3 scenarios:

1. Both contestants passing up the exemption.
2. One contestant taking an exemption, while the other passes up.
3. Both taking an exemption, resulting in nobody getting it.

Now, in the five teams - only a max of two can have scenario 2.

That means at least 3 pairs must achieve scenario 1 or 3.

It doesn't matter if the group passes or fails - whoever claims an exemption gets an exemption (unless their partner claims it too, meaning nobody gets an exemption)
