Default Who thought it a good idea to put that Rat thing on BoTS?
Had to switch of BoTS early tonight as I couldn't stand anymore of that Rat interupting others and constantly talking that irritating gibberish! It was terrible. Please BoTS can we have a proper panelist rather than some childish hand puppet who should have been consigned to the skip years ago!!

Me too, I have disliked Roland Rat for ages, I had to switch off too, really spoiled the night for me.

Think yourself lucky, we had Roland Rat all over TV in the 80's and it was just annoying then as he is now! Just hope the next 'guest' isn't Frank Sidebottom, that's even worse than the rat!

Not unless they dig him up. He's been dead for years. Roland Rat was massively annoying on BOTS. I thought he died out with the eighties.

Perhaps we'll get Emu or that Fox thing from the 1970s/80s next? I think it was a big mistake and a big turn off more many proper fans.

It won't be Emu, his master puppeteer, Rod Hull fell off his roof a few years ago trying to fix his ariel and died. Basil Brush maybe, if BBBotS scrape that barrel but at least he was funnier than the rat!
