I just can't work them out. On one side I think they are platonic but he has been really sad since she went and dyed his hair for her. I don't know if deep down, he's developed strong feelings for her too.

I think this is all for show to be honest. I think he saw her as a mother figure and someone he could confide in but once he sees how she has been I think he will stay clear. With every girl fancying him more a less it must be hard for the guy.
