My thanks to Luke A for pointing out what I would never have noticed.

On topic: If this is true (and I doubt it) then she would not do it. A gastric band operation is extremely drastic and potentially life threatening. Anyone who would think a programme which encourages a person to have a GS and then follow them is a good idea would find themselves in a legal minefiled.

A GS operation is only allowed if the person's weight and associated problems are life threatening and only under the strictest medical practices. It isn't like a boob job or liposuction.

Everyone knows that Becky, who is only 19, needs to follow a strict diet and exercise regime. She would have to prove beyond doubt that her problem is medical not merely a result of her greed and lazyness.
