Oi Smegheads! it's coming back, officially!
 Details known so far - Six 30-minute episodes will make up the series. - Pre-production October - Shooting November to January [with a live audience!] - Broadcast September 2012 - Scripts started soon, nothing written down yet, but ideas are plentiful. Oh, and it's airing on Dave

The best way to think of BTE is sorta like a movie of Red Dwarf (since it got rid of most of the sitcom aspects) Series 8 (The last one before 10) was actually my favourite next to the original two.
I'm glad they're filming in front of a live audience again too, that was one of the things that made BTE fall flat...as well as the weird metafiction crap |

not too bad. The first season isn't great, but it picks up near the end. Two through six are great, but anything after that is just average with a few good episodes here and there

I love Red Dwarf but Back to Earth was truly awful. Lets hope they actually have a good script this time and without the second rate Kochanski character ( I always thought Claire Grogan was miles better)
