Default ****ing love the drama...

At the end of the day it's an entertainment show over a talent show and always has been, and that was top class drama.

Probably the most entertaining final showdown result ever and what a coincidence it was on the first show. Dermot's shouting and the fact he was clearly pissed off with Louis was hilarious, Gary storming off laughable and the whole thing just being a massive mess from start to finish made for TV gold.

Yeah, I feel sorry for Carolynne but to be honest I wouldn't have cared if either had stayed. It was just great TV.

I was actually interested in Carolynne, Rylan will just be this years Katie Waissel without being entertaining to watch as a performer or as a car crash TV person.

I watch this show for drama.

Yes I wanted Carolynne to stay, but it was a great 10 minutes of tv.

It made the show semi interesting again. Truthully I don't really watch the show for the talent or any of their careers, because tbh none of them usually make music I would really buy. I watch it, because I want Drama & good tele and that's what it was today.

I was anticipating for more to happen afterwards. Gary storming off and then going back like nothing happened was a bit like, whaaaaaat?

Great summary there - and yep, all that stramash on the first show - you'd think it was almost scripted.

In talent terms a terrible result (the worst since the Jedward/Lucie showdown), but in entertainment terms probably the best showdown ever. Louis changing his mind, the producers whispering orders to him, Dermot, Gary and Nicole verbally abusing Louis and Gary storming off. The whole thing was a complete mess but TV gold.

As much as I liked Carolynne she probably would've struggled to make it past week 3 anyway since the public clearly haven't connected with her.

Great TV, the producers get exactly what they wanted, the net awash with outrage... Rylan was never going, he wasn't put through by the producers (not Nicole) to go in the first week....:joker,

Seriously the whole thing was hilarious. The best bits started from 2:55.

Louis' terrified face:

Louis: I'm going to go with Carolynne, I wanna keep Carolynne!
*Carolynne begins crying with happiness*
Dermot: So you're gonna send home Rylan?
Louis: I wanna save Rylan I wanna save Carolynne *scared face*
Dermot: WHO ARE YOU SENDING HOME LOUIS?! LOUIS THE NAME OF THE ACT YOU'RE SENDING HOME. WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?

And then the best bit...

Louis: I WANNA TAKE IT TO DEADLOCK! *audience screams as the drama hits the roof, Louis does scared face and Dermot rolls his eyes*
