Transformers actress Megan Fox has announced the birth of her baby son, Noah Shannon.

The 26-year-old was able to keep the story out of the media for three weeks - but has finally revealed the news on her official Facebook page.

Fox has been out of the limelight since the birth, allowing her family time to get used to the new addition, but she felt the time was right to let the world know.

She posted: "We have been very lucky to have had a peaceful few weeks at home, but I would like to release this myself before others do.

"I gave birth to our son Noah Shannon Green on September 27th. He is healthy, happy, and perfect."

Fox was already stepmother to her husband Brian Austin Green's 10-year-old son, Kassius, from a previous releationship.

The couple got married in 2010 in Hawaii.

I don't even remember hearing that she was pregnant!
