My BEST friend, posted on facebook that she and a work colleague of mine (she also used to work at the same place, so we mutally know this work colleague)were going to a tattoo event this Friday, and let her know if anyone wanted to go.

I do like tattoo's, and i would like to get one when i know what i want, i think they look nice and i'm genuinely interested in them. I told her that I'd tag along, and she said 'but you dont like tattoo's haha' and i said, 'yes i do, i just dont rant a rave about them'. and she said 'oh okay, course you can come but i can 100% garuntee that you'd be bored, and i said 'i wont be bored blablabla.

She then said 'oh well, no offence but i was looking for someone tattooed who'd know all the people there and would maybe wanna get one lol, if you get me'

and i just replied with, 'i do wanna get one, but okay i wont come then x'

AM I WRONG TO BE UPSET? i dont wanna confront her about how i feel because that would just cause unnecessary drama.

Hmm, this doesn't mean that she doesn't still adore you. There might be some things that you like to do that you feel other people you know might enjoy more then she would and it would be better if they go along rather than her. Doesn't mean she's starting to go off you or anything (I assume) but also at the same time.....the event space will be vast what the hell is her problem why can't you go? Ask her directly what is going on i'm feeling left out? anything you wana tell me biatch?

Yeah spelling isn't for everyone! You must be very artistic, or have a photographic memory! Something much cooler than spelling haha.

Fair enough about the second part but it is not as good as any other place sorry. Us whom waste our lives posting on a forum like this, really aren't the ideal candidates to give advice on real social situations.

Excuse me Charlie, don't lump everyone on this forum into one category. There's plenty of people on here who do just fine in "real social situations".

..I guess it depends on what you get out of the forum as to whether you feel it's a waste..and what you put into it....we all have experience of social situations, friendhips etc and our advice is as good as that of anyone else...whether the person takes any is up to them...
