Default Reason why BB7 is getting boring?

I think it could be the lack of decent tasks.. BB5 and BB6 were both so embarrassing towards the housemates, they managed to throw away every ounce of dignity they had left. Or they managed to make them throw up. In this BB all the tasks are just lame. Standing for the longest? Walking the longes? Who cares? Is it because they don't want to make Pete's tourettes worse by putting him under pressure? WHY?!?! The only funny task so far has been the milk task, and it has been 7 weeks.

The fact we cannot get rid of Imogen, Glyn, Mikey, Susie and the way that big characters go over the dullards.

The tasks have been pretty poor this year to be honest, they havent really been worked like recent years, the milk task was pretty funny to watch but apart from that overall the tasks havent been anything special.

I would love them to bring back secret mission tasks for the housemate, they were quite funny and I could watch that year after year.

I agree, there was a perfect balance of likeable, yet entertaining housemates in BB5, but in BB6 it was just vile show-offs. This year there are too many dullards, and even though they're 'nice' they just don't make the grade.

they are all getting boring but since its the loud obnocious ones that get nomiated its gonna be a while till the dullards get voted out! But then last week Nikki went when one of the quiet 'background' dollards could have gone but when you have mostly younge women and gay men voting who knows how it will go!
I'm one of the latter!!

young girls hate other young girls unless they're on their side (nikki, grace)
They love young boys to nurture (pete)
and anyone who gets in their way will be terminated (lea, lisa, nikki)

Lack of decent housemates I think. BB has become a parody of itself. In the early years, the contestants were pretty representative of their age groups and the British public. We all knew someone like Craig, or someone like Helen, or Kate or Jonny for example. Now, they pick contestants who are complete extremes and stereotypes, and they engineer conflict, instead of just letting conflict arise (which it would do when you stick a group of people in a house together). They deliberately put people in who they know will hate each other, and to be honest, it smacks of a desperate ploy from the program makers. And the whole business of a golden housemate and a secret house, with people thinking they're evicted when they're not really etc., etc. is just way too convoluted. They're trying too hard and going for all out sensationalism.

Not only that, but the housemates themselves are desperate attention seekers, who all see BB as a stepping stone to becoming famous without actually needing any talent for anything.

Its getting duller for sure, I have started missing the daily show and not bothering to catch up with it, if it wasnt for Pete making me laugh i wouldnt watch and even he is down now. I also think Nikki going has made it boring why o why cant people understand that if we vote the big characters out we are left with the quieter ones there was so much opportunity last week too to get any number of them out - groan!!!

With the Eviction of Nikki, Big Brother will lose the ratings. Im actually considering turning over to Love Island, something I promised myself I would not do. With all the major characters going, it gets even more boring. I think the BB Bosses need to do something and fast. We need to see some more Shocks and Twists, thats what makes it interesting. Secret Missions, wherever did they go! They were TV Gold. They need to get them to really stir things up, perhaps send someone in for the day just to tell them exactly what everyone has said about each other, all the backstabbing that's been going on then pull them out. The S**t will really hit the fan!. I think this years has been pretty dull. Its had its moments, but with the run up to the Launch Night back in May we were all expecting a really evil and twisted Big Brother like promised. Last years BB was excellent. That was Evil. I think this years could be the last, with the exception of Celebrity Big Brother in January. Sadly Big Brother has had its day. Time to throw in the towel I think

yeah, what is up with big brother this year? they've done crap twists that have been both unfair and plain boring. They've also found out the twists aswell, and they weren't supposed to. Big brother isn't funny, we have no silly tasks or nothing. The good characters keep getting booted out, and now either Richard or Jayne are going, what a shame!

It's not all down to the characters in there, because big brother can make it exciting by themself without being too contrived. Why don't they give Glyn a secret mission to get food or something? Hopeless.

BB is getting boring for a few reasons IMO. The lack of good tasks, lack of night-life, lack of fun and the lack of big charcters!!

We've barely had any proper arguments, they've all been short and pointless.

This years housemates seem to solve their problems with people by bitching about them and not confronting the person they have a problem with.
