Channel 5 are going to do two CBB and one normal BB a year. I think it's great! I love CBB!

CBB has always been on in the winter, 5 have just added another one in the summer

Channel 5 signed a contract with Endemol adding Celebrity Big Brother in the Summer. It's always been in the winter, they've just added a series in the summer.

It also avoids following the same route Channel 4 did in making the civilian series so long that it runs out of steam by the end and people get sick of it, 10 weeks is long enough for a civilian BB.

One concern though is that the summer celeb series is incredibly reliant on what happened in the civilian version for it to be considered successful. I know a lot of people who struggled to get into CBB10 because of how emotionally drained they were after BB13.
