Its a total mystery why best isnt in? hes taken youngs who isnt even englands best hooker?

ireland didnt destroy aussie in the world cup but they did beat them.......aussie are 2nd in the world a very good side.....they tend to be more vulnerable in heavy rain when the game gets slowed down.......I suspect gatland will try to dominate them up front before playing a teritorial game and getting sexton to bring in the big backline in their 22

the team will be almost totally irish and welsh....no jocks and maybe 2 englishmen at the most (tuilagi? hartley?)

back row will be interesting , I guess warburton will have to play 7, so then its heaslip v faletau for 8 and obrien v lydiate for 6

centres will be masive contest

Novo if you think Farrell should play ahead of Johnny you quite clearly don't know **** about Rugby. Johnny's overall attacking play and defence is on ANOTHER LEVEL to Farrell's go watch him destroy Northampton in the HC final to see possibly the single greatest performance by a fly half in history

anyways as for the rugby, france are not better than australia, nowhere near, france got the wooden spoon and are way behind aussie in the world rankings
whereas south africa and aussie are pretty close they same to be about even the past few seasons

BOD is past his best but he may yet make the side, its a tough call as jon davies, tuilagi and doctor jamie roberts are pretty immense players too in fine form

as for skipper. I would have been quite happy to see POC as skipper. BUT gats didnt go for it as he doesnt see him as a certainty to start the tests (mainly as hes missed most of the season)
POC and BOD and the likes of gethin jenkins , heaslip, adam jones, alun wyn jones have over 250 caps between them , so warburton will have massive support

in warburtons defence, he was a grewat world cup captain aged only 22, took wales to 4th place and won a grand slam and another 6 nations in his forst few seasons....gats is also used to working with him, hes a phenomenal professional athlete , a quiet man, but leads by example.

thats why theyve dropped down the world rankings. youre the only rugby fan on the planet who thinks france are better than australia, please stop making this claim youre embarassing yourself

POC would be my selection to start and probably as captain, but hes not guranateed starter as hes barely played all season, he has tough competition from alun wyn jones, parling, richie gray to name but a few. so I understand gatlands choice

BOD is possibly the greatest rugby centre of all time, certainly up there....but hes way past his best. yes hes still effective, but hes not a guaranteed starter....personally Id look to bring him in at inside centre with jonathon davies outside him and tuilagi on the bench....I also think roberts is too one dimensional
