He's so pretentious, just wants the attention for knowing something important.

He's done it the whole way through.

Telling people he knew stuff from the safe house but wouldn't elaborate, he read stuff on a non existent tennis ball but wouldn't elaborate.

People keep falling for his constant stream of bull****.

But in this instance, I think Dexter was trying to tell Charlie that 98.9% of his back story is crap.

What a loaf of bs, how did the tennis ball saga work to his advantage? He didnt use it to his advantage. Whats with the constant hate towards Dexter?

The only thing Dexter is trying to do now is create stories for the media on the outside.

His openly admitted to Charlie yesterday, telling her if the press want to know something then don't give it away for free.

Problem for him was that apart from the stupid and pathetic love triangle (which didn't quite go according to his plan) he doesn't have much to sell. So, this is just his way of trying to create a load of BS to sell when he gets out.

LMAO if he really thinks this is going to work. Plus what ****ing planet is he on? The day that BB HM's actually made a career outside the house from being on the show have long gone. The most he'll get is a couple of appearances on BOTS and that's about it.
