Something similar happened to my brother. A car was parked on double yellow lines facing the wrong way, the passenger opened the door and my brother caught the full force on his knee. Despite the fact he had his headlight on and was wearing a hi-viz vest over his leathers. His injury was horrific. The person who caused the accident said what dickheads always say to motorcyclists: "sorry mate, I didn't see you".

It's rather sickening that the clip is entitled "Biker gets what he deserved?"
