Default Do the producers want Dan out next?

The tennis ball with 'Dan is an actor' was probably meant to be the catalyst that made everyone start to doubt him, and nominate him for eviction.

When this didn't happen, they decided to ban Dexter from nominating to affect the votes.

Now they have the problem of Wolfy being up, so they need to manipulate the situation to allow her to be saved, housemates get to choose someone to save (Wolfy) and Dan's gone!

I think BB wants Dan out next!

I would have dismissed this view before, however,I do recalll on the news before BB started that the Police had had words with BB because a member of their force who had worked on the Jimmy Saville case was going in and they had concerns as to what he may come out with.

In the press we have over the top nonsense of the Police threatening to enter the BB house.
Now that is clearly ridiculous but it may not mean that the Police are not still concerned as to what Dan could with alcohol or in a heated debate reveal possibly as to cases he has worked on.
Add to that, the fact Dan's early star as to BB has faded recently then him being evicted could satisfy both BB and the Police.

Now these noms, face to face, put Dan up, with Dexter and Gina who the public have saved twice now.
So of those 3 Dan would be likely favourite to go at this time.
However, they find Wolfy up too,who would appear to be toast for friday's eviction.
Then today we get the announcement of this twist.

Okay, my mind is working overtime and maybe like Dan I am clutching at straws there but the more I think about it the more I find myself thinking it may be more than possible.

Of course it could go wrong and Dan get saved or even Gina, with Dan and Wolfy still going for the least votes but it could just be a chance worth taking for BB,if Wolfy could be saved and Dan get evicted.
Then also to have disguised it as a twist could have been pure genius in the end.

I am likely way off the mark and very wrong but I do have that niggling doubt as to what may be behind this twist and your post has fuelled those doubts even more.

If wolfy is saved I doubt that Dan would get the highest number of votes to evict from the public who don't see a lot of what we see on here. Their decision is taken based on what the see in the edits and Dan hasn't really blotted his copybook that badly recently. I guess Gina might go if wolfy is saved but it depends on the edit up till Friday. Most of the votes cast go down on Friday or late Thursday according to one source I have read somewhere.

Maybe that too but leaving the nominations and the eviction as it was done originally would have, as near sure as they could be, seen Dan not be evicted.
This twist could in fact ensure he is.

You are likely right but for the last 2 weeks in the public poll taken on the BB website as to who the public would put up for eviction.
Dan has been chosen the last 2 weeks and this week he had more votes than Dexter got to be up for eviction too with Dexter in 3rd place and Dan in 2nd, with Wolfy the first choice.

Surely BB would have removed him if there was a problem regarding his ex job & what he could have divulged in the house rather than go to all this trouble?

Ellen, now you have me off in another direction as well. That makes sense too but except that there is no legitimate reason to remove him as to really bad behaviour or rule breaking.

I think I need a drink.

But say after Wolfy is saved they don't feature dexter and gina that much in the highlights and they focus on Dan's bitching. They could also give dexter and gina secret tasks.

I think if Wolfy is saved in the house and I think she will as Charlie was the only housemate apart from Dan to vote for her and im guessing the nomed housemates wont be able to pick I think they will pick her either her or Dan imo. If she is saved I think Dan will go as Gina I think is well liked and people either hate dexter or want to keep him in to annoy people. So yeah I think they do

lets see how this works out

Daley-more likely will vote dan
Callum-wolfy i say
twins-wolfy
hazel-dan
sam-dan
charlie-dan
jackie-dan
sophie- wolfy maybe

Dan will be saved , therefore wolfy will still face eviction this is the best we can hope we all know dexter and gina unlikely very unlikely to be saved, and if anyone saves them it be a waste vote i reckon, as along wolfy is come wednesday night is up for eviction it still be great.

I mean Gina is not well liked but liked enough to not be voted out over Dan or Dexter.

Considering it's the same company in charge of BB and the Daily Star, what would they possibly do for headlines if they arrange to have the "Saville Detective" evicted?

How many times...the producers don't care who goes and who stays. All they care about is making a great show. The housemates are props, not people. There's no favoritism.
