Default Are we more open to non-nicey wicey HMs e.g. Gina, Rex, Speidi, Aaron etc

There was a time when the non-nicey wicey HM would have been kicked out ,thrown out (BB1 Nasty Nick) or had no chance of winning as bad guys never win.

However, over the last couple of years I've seen a shift away from the niceys who are often bland and towards the anti-heroes, villains, stirers and game-players e.g. Rex, Aaron, Gina, Dexter, Speidi, Caroline, Deana. BB12 Aaron's win was a major BB land-mark in terms of the types who win. Mark probably would have won (no problems with that) but given he absconded many assumed it would be nicey wicey Alex or Tom.

There seems to be an admission that the anti-heroes provide a lot of drama and instead of talking about them and then voting them out we are - THANKFULLY - keeping them in.

Gina and Dexter would have been fully evicted by now in the very early series.
