if youre in company with people who talk about 101 things and spend part of the time slagging people off, do you eventually find youself saying agreeing just fo0r the sake of it? things like yes, I know what you mean, yes she can be like that, yes I know what you mean he can be a bit cocky etc
by doing this youre keeping the conversation going, youre being sort of agreeable, but on the other hand are you guilty of joining in gossip here and slating another person? does this in fact make you two faced? the danger too is when youre agreeing or half agreeing, will those people quote you to other pepple....for example you agree yes he can be cocky.....they go tell him and others....the truth said youre cocky too.....etc even when youre words are taken out of context its very hard to explain your way out of these things then youre embroiled in an ongoing bitchfests of he said she said gossip mongering which can in fact damage your relationships? when we watch BB and slate everyone as two faced, just imagine everything you ever said was filmed and shown to the world? At work I have to say things I don't necessarily agree with... but not for much longer.
In my personal life I try never to say something I don't mean. |

would at work, to some extent. Would mostly try to stay non committal, listen rather than join in.

Oh definitely. If a friend is ranting about a mutual friend, I'll nod along and maybe offer the odd true statement about that other friend just to let that person get it all out... but I would never join in bitching about a friend if I wasn't pissed off at them myself. Or, at the moment, my parents are acting like a pair of angry teenagers towards each other and they both moan to me about the other and I say things to appease them both when really I'm not on either of their sides.
I think it's quite normal to do that... it probably is two faced, but there's a difference between being two faced and being purposely horrible I think. |

No, I would always stand my ground as to what I think and believe I am right in. I would however not dismiss others views and I always try to look for any compromise possible.
In the main though, no I am my own person and being as I am has served me well so far. |

I don't think I do,if I don't like someone ,I just don't speak to them,I am willing to find a middle ground, but if I feel it's not worth it I just cut off.i will not entertain disloyal people at all, you're either a mate or you're not, as with friends I tell them what I think and they tell me, no hard feelings with us,as it should be.
