Pointless, Dr Who and Downton Abbey have shown that US audiences aren't allergic to English accents like Hollywood seems to think they are so if they're gonna cast the same godamn people in the roles then they might as well save themselves some money and just show the original because the US viewing audiences aren't stupid like the networks think they are
I don't mind remakes as long as they aren't copy and paste jobs, the US Shameless, for example, is pretty good because (aside from the first few episodes) they did their own thing with it and it stood apart from the original. |
