Split into two teams earlier today, housemates became The Knights and The Ninnyhammers. Big Brother asked the gang to get involved in some LARPing – that's Live Action Role Playing for the unitiated.

Lionel became the captain of the Knights, ruling over Luisa, Liz, Linda, Ollie and Casey whilst Dappy was crowned leader of The Ninnyhammers, with power over Jasmine, Jim, Lee and Sam.

The games began – the first two seeing them going to head-to-head to win lifelines that would prepare them for the final challenge – The Joust.

Game one - The Beast – saw old adversaries Luisa and Dappy pursued by a terrifying monster (a dog in a lion's mane), wearing a tail made from sausages. Dappy lost his sausage first (no laughing at the back), so Luisa earned a lifeline for The Knights.

The second game – Magic Potions – involved Lionel, Linda and Ollie for The Knights and Jim, Jasmine and Sam competing to make an impressive elixir. The Knights' potion was simply amazing, meaning they won themselves yet another lifeline.

Soon it was time for the ultimate challenge – The Joust. Lee led The Ninnyhammers for this one, facing off against Casey the Knight. Taking it in turns to push jousting poles through a wall, they tried to dislodge their opponent from the other side. With two lifelines in the bank, Casey was able to get hit twice and remain in the game. Lee was without a lifeline and would be out the moment he was struck.

Casey took two blows from the Blue Ninnyhammer and it all came down to the final strike. Casey was in there first with the killer blow so the crown went to the Knights as the games wound down.

Where there's LARP there are larks... and as the sun set, the Knights were alright.
