Default Anyone here use eye ointments

not eye drops but those pastes which you have to put on like this


I have to put on lacrelube for my dry eyes.. got them two days ago and I've wasted half the ****ing tube trying to put them on. Anyone got any tips

I am actually allergic to most eye ointments, but I don't see how you could have a problem using them, maybe watch a video of someone applying it to their eye?

I wear contacts so can't see pretty good when I'm applying the ointment as they have to be taken out

Have you gotten used to actually touching your eyeball yet? What I'm asking, is do you flinch whenever you try and put the paste on (hence wasting half the tube)? If that's what's happening then it'll just take time... learning to poke around your eyeballs is a skill
