If you have this app then you would have noticed some changes to it:

Here are the main ones good and bad below:


The pause button is slap bang on the middle of the screen blocking the video when you press the screen - it used to be discreetly in the bottom left corner next to the time

The comments section shows how many like or dislikes a particular comment has however you cannot give it a thumbs up yourself as you could prior to this new version. Also, you still cannot reply to a comment but you can only report a comment (and view it ofc)

The information section has improved showing the date in which the video was upload as the full details given by the uploaded (it was cut off sometimes in the old version)

As with the old version, you can scroll through videos while the video you are now playing is in the bottom right hand corner. With playlist you now have the option bar of whether to share a playlist or do other hinge with it. However, when you move down the playlist this bar disappears

You can now have the option to move back one video in a playlist an forwards with the buttons next the the annoying pause button in the middle of the screen. This is an improvement on the arrows that were on either side of the screen on the old version which you usually pressed accidentally.

Also, the options bar (share, add to playlist, add to watch later etc) is now on the interface of the video (top right corner) which is a shame as it worked well on the bottom of the comments section however this is but a minor change and has no genuine impact

I use one called Jasmine, type in youtube client and it should come up

But this is annoying me. I preferred the small pause button we used to have.
