Why did Kimberly apply for BBUK.?

And how did this happen, did she audition like everyone else and constantly fly backwards and forwards between the two countries during this process, or did the BB producers seek her out.?

She would be usual fodder for CBB seeing as she was in Playboy in the past, and also why didn't she apply for BBUSA, why our BB, it's all a bit strange to me.
