In order of preference:

1) Florence and the Machine make the most interesting music.
2) Adele's obviously the best songwriter & singer.
3) Ellie Goulding's made some cracking tunes but some really really dull ones too
4) Sam Smith's got a great voice and some good songs, but too early to say whether he's a passing fad or not
5) Jessie J has the occasional pop smash but it's not enough to overlook the trash or her grating personality, but then she did write Party in the USA so she deserves at least an OBE
6) Tom Odell was sort-of nice I suppose but really who cares?
7) And aside from the majestic 'Heaven', Emeli Sande has done nothing good at all and won't go away
