A simple countdown and a monotone voice did the trick for years. I personally think the show would be now better without a narrator at all in the highlights. Events in the house seem to narrate themselves. I don't need to be told that Pauline is in the bedroom. I can see it myself.

He's delusional and probably has some mega contract so he can't be fired.

Goodness knows why they started having scream over the live shows and adverts as though he's the voice of X Factor. Just stupid and emphasises his poor pronunciation.

I hate it. But I guess they do it because half of his things are already recorded - and the rest he can do when he records the show. So it's cheaper. But they could easily get Emma for 20 minutes or a producer or a task team member to do voiceovers, I'm sure they wouldn't have to suddenly pay them all extra wages.

It ruins the atmosphere, that's the only reason I hate it. I would hate it less if they had the eviction music playing as the housemate said their goodbyes and left the house, but there's no music and all's you can hear is 'TAMARAAA, PLEASE LEAVE IMMEDDIATTELLLYY'
