sporting kansas city’s dom dwyer took the ‘selfie’ craze to a new level - celebrating a goal with a hidden phone and taking a picture of himself with fans.

The english-born forward put his side one-up in their mls clash with chicago fire, calmly finishing a one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

However, dwyer then ran over to the advertising hoardings, was handed a mobile phone by a member of staff and took a selfie with a team-mate in front of a cheering section of supporters.

He was then promptly booked for his efforts.
