I dont like him.
He is a nice chap but his voice irratates me. I wouldnt have put him through to Boot Camp let alone the final 8.

I was suprised he put Sean thrpugh to the final 8 aswell. I dont think he can cope in the Live Shows and i think Simon knows that aswell. I think Simon is getting his hopes up.

when he put Sean in and not ray i was like 'OMG he cant even do a full song'

but then he put ray in so i aint bother about Sean

I like Ray. He's a bit different and very charming. He isn't my overall favourite, but I was pleased when Simon changed his mind to let him through. Wish he did the same with Rudi!

Ray's the guy who used to be in Brookside, the 17yr old, black hair. Has a kind of swing type style to him. The one Simon was like 'I've made a mistake we need to get him back'.

I disagree about him 'basically talking'. I think he can sing, it's just that kinda music ain't my kinda thing. That's the style of the music. If he sang pop he wouldn't sing that particular way, if you get what I mean.

I like Ray I think he is pretty good like someone has already posted the reason he sings like that is because the type of songs he is singing is that kind of swing music and he could be singing that because he likes that type of music.

I am glad he was put through I couldn't believe it when Simon put that young boy in and not Ray at first I mean that other boy is ok but God as again someone has already posted he would never of been able to handle the live shows he was a quivering wreck of nerves.

I think Ray brings a bit of fun to the competiton, for me he seems a cheeky chappy who is like most 18 year olds....looking to have fun. His style of music taste and hair style makes him look cocky to a degree but I think he is more confident than arrogant. He will entertain and that is what makes him a much better choice over Shaun who has yet to finish one single song or episode without bursting into tears. I think Rays acting carear makes him the bubbley down to earth person which is great to see. Most young actors lose that when earning cash and become greedy but I think Ray is still a natural performer who has stayed very grounded.

I don't think he can win it but I think he is very much needed into the mix, because he has that spark that can pull off a song on his character rather than just his voice. The X Factor would be VERY boring if we didn't have this type of character in the live shows. Imagine last year without Chico....it would of been very very dull and lifeless and you need that something or someone who can bring a smile to your face.
