Gary Busey made the most awkward Celebrity Big Brother entrance of the night as he refused to go in the house and laid the "charm" on thick with Emma Willis.

But what could have made a lesser interviewer feel rather uncomfortable was masterfully brushed off by Willis, 38.

Asked on Big Brother's Little Brother about the experience she replied that she was a huge fan of Gary's films and added that allowances should be made for the screen veteran.

"He is over 70 and sometimes his hearing isn't very good," was the classy response from Willis as she reflected on the uncomfortable moment on this year's Celebrity Big Brother as Busey chatted her up and then refused to go in the house.

When asked what kind of a housemate he'd be he laid on the sleaze telling Emma, "come and see me later."

Willis whisked him up the steps towards the house but the eccentric actor dug in his heels.

Emma put her microphone to one side and whispered the interview was over and he needed to go in the house but he insisted he'd been promised three questions.

"We've done that bit," she pleaded before resorting to the tried and tested goodbye hug and was finally able to guide him through the famous doors.
