Your overall thoughts on it now the whole series has ended? It was meant to change BB15 'forever' and it actually did, but for the wrong reasons. In my opinion, in their haste to get as many housemates as they could out because they were making it up as they went along (never stopping to think that they didn't need 4 people to leave in one week, they could have had a mid-week eviction with the fewest votes to win in the last week!) that they actually weren't thinking of the impact it was going to have. We lost two of the best in one night with Biannca and Danielle, which ruined the direction, and it wasn't even balanced out by loosing 2 deadwoods in Marlon and Kimberly. Armageddon Week effectively severely contributed to why people hate this series, if it hadn't have happened then it would have been better and we would have been able to keep Danielle and Biannca for at least another week and would have lost Marlon on the Friday of Danielle and Biannca's eviction as he, Ashleigh and Ash were going to be up and he wasn't popular at the time.
In a recent blog I did I blamed this series going downhill on one of the worst eviction orders in BB history, but now reflecting Armageddon Week also played a big part in it. Last edited by Cal.; 19-08-2014 at 04:30 PM. |

I thought it gave the show a jolt in a boring middle.
Biannca, Pav and Zoe were good additions for different reasons. Imagine that week without armageddon, Marlon still there, the series still plodding along... Danielle went at the right time too. She'd given all she had to offer and they stopped the awful attempt at starting something with Winston in its tracks. Last edited by Marsh.; 19-08-2014 at 04:33 PM. |

I totally agree. I hindsight, the Friday of Armagaeddon week was the exact point where I stopped watching BB15, so I suppose it was the final nail in the coffin to a terrible, terrible series

If Biannca, Pav and Zoe entered and they hadn't done silly 'Armageddon' then it would have been better. No luxury pad with secret earphones and live feed, just them moving into the house into spare beds with giving them no secret mission and seeing how the rest of the house reacted to 3 new people with no ulterior motives...that would bring back the element of the social experiment. Marlon, Ash and Ashleigh received the most nominations which is why Marlon was evicted, so they wouldn't shouldn't have done the nominations twist where he left they could have just done a normal standard eviction and he probably would have gone against Ash and Ashleigh. There was no need for the 3 new housemates to be set the secret mission, no need for them being put up secretly either.

They needed to lose housemates to cut down the count for the last week.
Marlon and Danielle, their time was up. |

In Marlon's case (and I'm sorta glad Kimberly went, not down to the circumstances obviously) yes, but Danielle had a lot more to give. She was the only housemate who re-entered the house and argued with one of the housemates, which just proved she had unfinished business in there. Biannca had a lot more to give as well, she really spiced up the series in the 4 days she was there.

There's no doubt about it that this series would have been better had Biannca not been evicted.

I'd also say Kim's departure WAS down to the circumstances. |

What messed this series up was the fact nominations were messed with too much (was there a week where they weren't tampered with?) and the pass to the final. They said week after week that the power housemate would be more powerful than the power housemates before them but the power housemates messed with nominations. Pav's and Zoe's power to evict Danielle (and Pauline's power to give 5k to Mark, to give Helen a pass to the final and Jale the killer nomination) was the most powerful and the most unfair. Big Brother only evicted three (Marlon, Biannca and Danielle, all once again, unfairly) but Kimberly was 'sick' () and left. |

Can I get a witness?

I was thinking about this today, they claimed it was going to rock the house forever, but it didn't because no one cared Marlon went and we still had a normal eviction. However, if Kimberly went as a result it might have been seen in a better light but if Ashleigh went then there could have been a massive campaign etc

It set the series on the wrong path
If they'd just put the 3 newbies in and set the nomination process straight and done a normal eviction on the friday it would have saved the series! |

The series would of been better if there was no twists. Like the power housemate thin was enough imo.

I completely disagree. Biannca was a one trick pony. She flashed her tits and said outrageous things and generally made a fool out of herself, and that was all fine and well for a couple of days but it got old quick even in the week she was in there. She even said in her post-eviction interview that she wouldn't have changed one bit if she had stayed in the house. So what we saw while she was in there was all that she had to offer. She was completely one dimensional character and the public did the correct thing by voting her out as soon as possible. We didn't need to see her get her tits out another half dozen times and awkwardly ask to ride Winston's cock over and over again. The 4-5 times she did it while she was in there was plenty enough for any normal person to have to endure.
