"New female housemates" brought in for the men -sexist

Why can't a young attractive female HM be introduced to just be a potentially good hm. Why is she linked to the guys as a supporting showmance character? "We need a hot young lass for Cristian". Why? Not all women will fancy him.

Erm why not the equivalent words for Eileen or Jade?
