Because she doesn't have a clue who these people are, and she may feel unconfortable and shy.

Also. Jade said they didn't make her feel welcome, i dont she meant it in a cheeky way and Shilpa could have taking it the wrong way, because she seems to get upset quite easily after seeing her crying when the other went to the HND
