Because he wasn't voted off on Friday he now thinks he is more popular than he is, even though he was booed. You can literally see him talking himself into the public love me. I bet he gets nastier on the confidence boost.
Sam is desperately trying to back peddle and distance herself from Marc. In her delusion she thinks her boos were for associating with him.
