OK first of all, there is no racial undertone here just becuase hes white and hes black, before it all explodes into another debate.

But from day one, I have noticed small things that show evidence of Dirk not liking Jermaine, for some reason.

For example, play back the tapes, and you'll see how Dirk was the one who announced Jermaine to stay in the house with Russel and Shilpa, when he said he wanted to go with them.

Second he nominated him today

does any one know why

third, i forgot the other bits, but i know i have a point here.

i have no idea! i thought being from the good 'ol USA they would have plenty in common. both stars in the 70s/80s & both very mature. i guess you can never really tell whats going on inside a persons heart! i nearly fell off my seat when he said jermaine!!!

I think he likes Jermaine, remember he's the one Dirk spends the most time with, late night chats etc, I think he had Jermaines best interests at heart. He wanted to get him out of that tense, bitchy atmosphere. Though I could be wrong, but i don't think I am

I think he knows Jermaine is a nice guy, why he is voting Jermaine though is he can see Jermaine is not liking the experience with all the tension, he is trying to end Jermaine's pain, as he put it anyway. Jermaine doesn't seem to be too down though.

Don't forget when he gave major props to Jermaine for being an excellent sport in the Tribute Band task.

my take on this was that Dirk could see Jermaine did'nt like being in that house one bit, and he genuinely voted to evict him to save him further misery. They like eachother. In the same way Cleo voted Shilpa, to get her away from Jade.

I think hes voting him out because he thinks it is what Jermaine needs.
I don't think Dirk is into this game playing, slyness... to be honest, I don't even think he has a clue what he is meant to do in this game, to even have a gameplan... he just goes with the flow... good ol' dirk

Yeah basically Dirk knows Jermaine has had enough and just wants to help him out and they spend alot of time chatting, laughing and joking so it's pretty obvious he was only thinking of Jermaine.

or maybe dirk feels that jermaine and shilpa are too close to one another so he wants to get rid of jermaine so he can come closer to shilpa???? god knows what he was thinking when he nominated jermaine

yeah, its Jermain and Dirk in the Final for me, although i like Ian, but i dont know if Ians playing the game. Seems alright so far.

if shilpa or jermaine wanted to be away from the drama, they would leave! true? thats no excuse to nominate them imho. they are not chained. personally i think cleo & dirk are spineless, but thats just mpho!

maybe he's playing the game and see's Jermaine as a threat.. Or.. he doesnt want Jermaine in the house 'cause he doesn't like the house.. Jermaine has said that he has picked a day when he is going to go..

Last week Dirk wanted to go and said he thought the public liked him and would evict him to take him away from the situation so perhaps he felt they might do it with Jermaine, it's really the only thing I can think as to why he nominated him as there's been no tension between the two.

Dirk and Jermaine are good mates.

Dirk voted for Jermaine because he didnt want to deal with the guilt of not helping Jermaine in the arguments. Dirk explained that.

I think Dirk voted him out as he wants to be the last guy in the house and also so he can get closer to Shilpa. Jermaine is a boring character...and all they have in common is age.

How is Jermaine boring? just because he doesn't shout.

Yeah i think Dirk nominated Jermaine as a favour, that's all i can think off because they seem good mates.

Thats what I think as well.

A few days ago. Dirk and Jermaine made a pact that if one of them left/got evicted or walked that they both would leave together. I think that they are both a bit fed up of the Jade situation. Things will probably be better for the whole group in general after tomorrows eviction.

Maybe he is jealous that Jermaine has quite a close relationship with Shilpa and he wants Shilpa all to himself...
