Big Brother has ditched the technological advances of today and has returned to the golden era of Hollywood and Broadway. With all of the glitz and glamour of the Hollywood themed right through the new Big Brother House, what will Big Brother have in store?

The new House has been completely transformed with red carpets, golden lights, plush fixtures and a New York themed garden, the House is one of the biggest and luxurious ever. Hidden away in the depths of Big Brother's golden pad is a big secret that could change the way the Housemates live while in the House.

This is a little different to what I've done previously and I'm really excited about it! I'm usually a techno freak and doing modern looking houses with futuristic designs etc but this is actually a step into the past and the House is looking extremely unique.

Big Brother: Highlights
9pm Monday - Thursday and 10pm on Sunday
Marcus Bentley narrates the highlights from the Big Brother House where the Housemates take part in the latest tasks, nominations and twists. During the Monday night show, the final 10 minutes would be live from the House for the reveal of who faces eviction from the House.

Big Brother: Live Eviction
9pm on Friday
Emma Willis returns to host the live eviction shows for Big Brother 2016 as the highlights from the past 24 hours are shown, plus the Housemate with the most votes to evict leaves the Big Brother House for good.

Big Brother's Bit on the Side
11pm Sunday - Thursday
Rylan Clark returns to host Big Brother's Bit on the Side as he is joined by the regular studio audience and a panel of famous faces to digest the House action and discuss the latest goings on inside the House.

Big Brother's Big Ball
10:30pm on Friday
As the evicted Housemate leaves the House, Rylan Clark and Emma Willis host a special BOTS all about them. The evictee will join the duo in the studio to look back on their time in the House in true 1920's style, plus there will be live music from special guests every Friday night.

I'm going to jump ahead and go straight to posting the House designs for this project.

The Big Brother House - Exterior Stage

The stage isn't that much different to the usual stage that we've grown accustomed too since the show moved to Channel 5 in 2011. However, there are some major differences in the style. Fitting in with the 1920's gatsby theme of the series it has been given a golden makeover.

Starting at the eye, the screen stays the same however behind has changed and has golden lines, resembling the Gatsby theme, while the main lighting of the stage is now golden yellow. For the first time, the civilian Housemates will feel like royalty as they walk down a red carpet to the stage to meet Emma. Meanwhile, the circular stairs have been replaced with straight stairs in a gold and silver colour. The screen on the front of the House remains but in a 1920's artdeco shape.

The Big Brother House - Entrance Hall

After the Housemates have climbed the brand new stairs outside the house, they will walk through the infamous double doors into Big Brother's brand new House. The entrance hall is longer than usual, and has been decorated to resemble a plush and luxurious hotel. Marble walls line the entrance while a red carpet runway leads the Housemates to the stairs into the main House.

Will the Housemates enjoy the feeling of luxury?

The Big Brother House - Lounge

After the Housemates make their grand entrances through the luxury of the entrance hall and down the grand stairs, they will enter the lounge area of this open plan House.

Raised on a wooden floor with red carpet squares, the lounge is a large luxurious area with more marble walls and large comfy sofas. There is a plasma screen for the Housemates to see task instructions or other VT's Big Brother likes to reveal and a wall for the Housemates faces to go on. There is also a toilet in this area.
