Default Russell Brand is discriminating

Russel Brand is discriminating and is no better than the goody and chav bunches out there. He is appealing to one type of mind when he introduces so much perversion. What about the rest of Britain who appreciates tasteful humour. Whom do you see when you speak to us through that TV Russell? You obviously don't respect us. Speak to us as you would having a normal conversation with Shilpa or Germaine or is it that you really believe you are communicating only with a bunch of sexually explicit dimwits. If you have summed us up as that then you are no better than Jade and her bunch making vast generalizations. We have seen what comes from this. Speak to the nation with humour and respect and the nation will give you back this in return. It's like a father and son relationship. What you expect from him, he will ultimately produce. What sort of contribution do you want to make to us as a nation? I implore you to make a sound investment adn if you don't care about this generation, care about the next. Or can you........?

To be fair though - doen't everyone actually appeal to one type of mind? Nobody can be liked by everyone.

I know what Ruth means. And I really don't need advice on how to live my life, thanks.

Well I think Russell's sexual humour tries to appeal to all people. Without sex, none of us would be here, its nothing to be ashamed of and the taste of the show is strictly 'late-night adult' with the assumption we are mature enough to not get upset by a little smut. You have to remember, Big Mouth is a debate show and Russell plays an important part in keeping the controversy to hand, so that the audience are alive and responsive with their statements of condemnation and righteousness.

You compare Russell to the 'girls' in the house but I say youre wrong, however, if you dont like him thats your prerogative. Personally, I think he does a stellar job.

I like him. His humour is crude but his imagination is amazing. I'd like to hear his version of the Aristocrats joke.

Don't you like it when people disagree with you?

I don't think you can judge someone by the fact that they like Russell Brand.

I may not like what people are doing but I hate no one. Russell is loved by someone greater than I.
And this is for HItman---- If this is your idea of 'stellar', your stars are very low down in the stratosphere.

OK answer me one more question. If Russell doesnt do a 'stellar' job of compering the debate show, doing the necessary things to keep debate vivid and running smoothly, how could it be done better, and WHO would you give the job to?

Bare in mind you have to keep the 18-30s tuning in.

Sorry Red moon,, I respect your authority. Love the avatar. It has such a calming effect. \Imagine big brother is just a tiny dot there and so many conflicts of different types and textures are taking place all over the world.

You seem to underestimate the talent out there. of course we could do and x factor type special t get the right person but I'm all for using the same talented individual with some changes to the texts. We should not hearken to the voice of a cheap consumer society where when soomething needs repairing we simply throw it out and get a new one. We ought to let things run the true staying course of their lives. Isn't life about changing and improvement. This is the reason why so many relationships break up. Unwilling to give chances selfishly.

Please don't get me wrong. I'm all for humour , creativity etc. but would you like your kids and young people around you to adopt this manner of speaking and laugh about it, especially young ladies. if you agree with it then don't knock girls like danielle jo adn jade when you are defending the same values for your daughters, grandkids, etc

I like an outlet for things such as vulgarity and slightly distasteful humour so that i dont need to incorporate it into my own life so much. If Russell wasnt on TV talking filth to make some of us laugh, our nature would make us think it up ourselves and SAY IT ourselves, because no-one else had. The admirable thing about Russell's style is his skill for language and his good nature. Russell's a good soul and he sends that message out to millions of people every show, but still you want to convert him into some sort of CITV kiddies presenter. I disagree with you expat, I like diversity.
