Goodbye @ only one person going. WHY ON EARTH would they do an 8 person final which lasts less than 2 hours?!

Agreed, being a 'finalist' has completely lost its meaning. Four or five was such a good number. Even six is ok.

They probably think the more people in there at the end then the more 'event-like' it feels. Which is ironic as that's the complete opposite. 4 is the perfect number for a final.
