Default Isn't it time the viewers demanded the producers make the nomination rules clear?

Yes, I understand they can put up who they like and change the rules whenever. But this is getting beyond a joke now. Sometimes it's the 2 or more with the most noms, then it's anyone with 2 noms, now Renee is up having got 3 but Lewis and Bear a lot more.

The viewers have no idea where they stand anymore and I just don't understand why people don't make some noise about this. It is ridiculous.

It's never been as bad as it is now getting. The producers are out of control and just making it up after every round of nominations.

For a while there it looked like anyone with 2 noms was up, though they occasionally changed that. But now it changes every week. Surely in the age of internet forums and twitter people can get on at them for this.

Its just beyond irritating now. Thought they'd finally turned a leaf with the revert to the original rule this series, but once again they decide to rig

I'd say message ofcom about it but I dont think they even care at this point, like C5 they'll likely ignore anything sent to them.

It's a programme now that has turned the tables and tests viewers rather than the HMs, it whips viewers up to vote this one or that one with a manipulated edit and changeable rules designed to get people to pick up the phone, just don't vote that's the only way

I am with yaki da - this way the game will be transparent and we will all see it. or they could do things like this as the house mates goes in.

put on the website a game and the looser will be up for eviction unknown to the housemates. if you get what I mean.

so on and so on so we can see there is a fare way that the people are up and no twists and it is our game.

I doubt people are. But it's getting to the point of just not watching for me.

What is the point in following a show where the producers could, if they want, do everything in their power, which is limitless, to set up a task that leads to a particular person getting evicted?

As I understand it Lateysha was voted out by HMs and no doubt many here rejoiced. But that sort of thing gives the producers so much power over who stays and who goes it's not inconceivable that they set it up to take people's favourites out in that way.

It's a shame that this now goes on without anyone mentioning it. The fan sites don't care (apart from BB Spy), there's not one post on the DS forums about this as far as I can tell. And looking around on twitter, no one seems to have even noticed.

I know it's just a television show, but it feels like such a slap in the face to those of us who do notice.

I wish they would but I honestly don't think they ever will. It used to really annoy me too but it isn't worth it, I just kind of accept it for what it is now.

It's funny they don't even show the tally anymore, probably thinking it wont cross anyone's minds how unfair some of the evictions are.

They'll never make it clear because they don't know who they'll need to fix it for in the future obviously!

It's all about the phone vote, no point having two bores in the final, they will want something like a Ricky v Bear final two...kerching

I think Tellymix occasionally points out this too, although I completely agree its frustrating to see a majority of the online fans failing to even notice this Perhaps some of us are just too intelligent for Big Brother (or the version of it these producers are giving us) ... as egotistical as that sounds it truly may be the case.

I did see a post on facebook about 20 minutes ago mentioning it, but I expect its been deleted by now. I'd love to keep trying to complain in order to make a difference but I feel all our efforts will be fruitless

The only rule now in place as to BB that holds any real credibility because of BB's actions on rules, is that 'BB can change the rules at anytime'.

And kiss their show goodbye. Because it can't be long before even the dumbest viewers notice that the producers are essentially saying up yours to them.

Nevermind the rules of the house... Any show needs a clear and simple format for viewers to follow. They've urinated all over it.

I 100% agree,I don't however think BB really cares a jot for what viewers think unfortunately.

They don't even seem bothered as to having them vote really either, sometimes only barely 24 hours to vote, whereas it was days before.
Then they mess around with the result of the voting too with no consideration at all showing to those who actually bother to vote.

I've argued against it for years under the assumption that it will just get worse and worse and that is exactly what has happened, partly because so few seemed to understand what they were doing or just couldn't be bothered to complain. It's now at the point where it is happening in so many ways every week viewers don't even notice anymore.

They'll get themselves in trouble eventually imo. Only telling the voters what the actual rules of the last vote were (Only top 2 get saved) 23 hours after opening the lines was very dodgy.

So bored of BB manipulating the rules to suit them. BB IMO is going downhill fast and I can see it ever getting back to its former glory.

well we know they make it up as they go along so that they dont lose people they want to stay (for controversy)

Notably when Grant and James were up first week, there was only two?? when has that ever happened ??

They want Renee out rather than one of the skanks, so everyone needs to vote for Renee (not that I like her) just to show the producers that we get to choose, not them! (or should anyway)

the show is not designed for long term viewership anymore, so any rules are basically pointless. They show an hour of contrived edit and then based on that encourage people to vote, hence why the show is all about conflict and argument. Short term viewers are not interested in Sam Fox making dinner or whatever, they want bonking, arguments, fights etc. The only thing in common with the original concept is the name. Its now trash TV. I've pretty much given up on it. For now I will watch evictions and see how it goes, but I can't see me even watching them soon. Its pointless, and not a show I'm interested in, in its current format.

you are so right, people who voted for Marnie & Chloe should be very annoyed as their votes didnt really count in the end

Much as I was over the moon when the skankiest skank went on Friday, I wouldnt mind betting she got more votes to stay than Marnie!
