Default Colombian Plane Crash leaves 76 dead, including members of a Brazilian Football Club
Chapecoenese was headed to the Sudaamerican cup final (Europa League equivalent) when this happened. Only 5 people survived including 3 players, 1 crew member and a journalist.

What a terrible tragedy this is , probably the worst Christmas ever for all these families, its so dreadfully sad as no doubt lots of children will have lost a parent , its heartbreaking.

Brazilian Clubs are offering free loans to Chapecoenese and are asking the Brazilian FA to let the club have immunity from relegation for 3 years.

And their opponent in the Sudaamerica Cup Final, Atletico Nacional wants COMEBOL to give Chapeconese the cup

i think they ran out of fuel, they were in a holding pattern for 15 minutes, similar to a Avianca flight, who crashed near New York, after running out of fuel while being in a holding pattern for 30 minutes
