Default BB screwing this up themselves

The cast are above average and the recipe for a great show is all there but why are the viewing figures down and why are the forums and social media quiet.....SIMPLE.... The producers of this whole debacle are messing it up themselves yet again.

They are far too interested in romances, which have failed this year. They want trouble and once again they allow the giants to sleep soundly. They have a great chance to rile the HM's with selective tasks and they are failing terribly there as well and finally they are pumping more food into the house than an 'A' lister wedding party reception.

In short there seems to be no inventiveness with these idiots and the 2 keys to all of these shows are interesting tasks and food deprivation. When will they ever learn.

the cast is kind of weak, too many bores compared to other years, they were counting on speidi to stir it up right away but theyre playing the long game, itll pick up tho

Take away Austin what are you left with. His fake dramatics are boring and predictable, the rest are just coasting.

time to get back to one CBB per year and add 4 weeks on to the Civilian one in the Summer, with two CBB'S per year it was only a matter of time before people got bored and their cats become weak.

I'm definitely not a fan of 'All Stars'...the only time I supported people going back in the house was in 2010 when it looked like it was the last ever big brother, it was good to see past winners from a nostalgic point of view but for a series that doesn't look like stopping anytime soon people who have been in it in the past have zero reason to be in it again.

one shot deal.

Plenty? Nicola and Jamie, Nicola v Jasmine, Angie Best, Speidi fence sitting like so many winners Coleen, Stacy, James J the only invisibles have been Ray J, Bianca and Brandon, I'm enjoying it anyway, for week 1 it was pretty entertaining

Honestly, you're negativity isn't needed.

BB haven't done much wrong atm. Great house, great graphics and a much less biased editing and little to no interfering.
The cast is a mixed bag, that's true, BUT they didn't invite as many reality-stars as before, no GS, no EOTB-
The allstar housemates could be better, but tghen again they all have provided so far and even if some don't like them, they truly are allstars as they all contributed hugely to their respective series.

Ratings aren't that geat because Brits don't like Americans, don't wanna see the 'same old people' (which is stupid as comparing them to their first stint alone makes it interesting enough) and it is almost impossible to always top the series before in terms of press coverage, which brings ratings as well. Having said that, ratings are OK and might be considered decent in time officials arrive. I wouldn't be suprised if some episodes add around 700.000, maybe more.

And even if the ratings won't hold on to the last few winter series, doesn't say it wasn't a good series. CBB16 is the lowest rated summer CBB, yet imo the best.

Personally I think its the dullest CBB I ve ever seen. An absolute mess. - Just thinking of when Pete Burns was in there - And Dappy, Louisa, Jasmine, Lee and Casey - this is the worst ever.

Nothing interesting is happening. The fake drama queens dont have their heart in the drama - awful.

I think Speidi ''the brand'' have realised that CBB is dead in the water, so they are not going to be invited back or get any further bookings from anyone this side of the pond at least, so they are coasting. They also are afraid of Austin, JJ and especially a couple of the girls in Nicole, Stacy and Jasmine. They are a shadow of their former wicked disgusting selves and are a spent force.

Their gameplan this year is to rein back on the nastiness and get the popular vote but they may not even reach the finals at this rate, lol. God bless em and it seems that all they have left is eachother.

I think their gameplan was to be as they were last time, but they wasn't reckoning on JJ, Nicola,Austin,Jasmine ,even James C being in their, they are floundering and out of their depth

Been a great series IMO.

Viewing figures are dropping as people are just sick of BB...when you have 2 celeb ones a year plus a civilian series this will happen.

Exactly - who likes the Americans? Americans aren't funny - they dont have a sense of humour by and large - they take everything so personally - its exhausting.

I would like to think CBB18 has something to do with it.

I don't get why figures are dropping really it's a great series so far. Perhaps people are just getting tired of reality tv?
