then we'll head to judges houses, slightly different, each of our 8 acts have to sing twice

and then 6 acts will go into the liveshows, making our top 18

Rylan: I'm backstage on the X factor where filming is commencing on the 8 seat challenge, I'm now joined by my old team mentor Jake, it's so great to see you Jake

Jake: aww the same Rylan well done for landing this job I knew you would be successful

Rylan: so how's the seat challenge going?

Jake: it's so stressful and I feel bad for the acts I'm not taking through because all of my top 16 are amazing

Rylan: as amazing as the team I was in?

Jake: yeah they are looking so strong! I mean I am so happy that I got three acts to the semi final 2 series in a row so I want to achieve that again obviously, I don't know if I will be the winning mentor 2 series in a row we are still awaiting on the votes to see who is through to the final, so obviously I have that on my mind right now too, but I'm so excited to be creating a whole new team Jake right now and I believe I have chosen my top 8, there is two acts in particular I feel so bad sending home so I'm hoping we get to choose 10, and then choose 6 for live shows, I do have 8 but there are ten acts in total I feel like I need to see more of to be able to choose my 6

Rylan: well this is your final series, maybe if you ask the other mentors kindly enough they might choose to agree with you

Jake: let's hope so
